History and Description: The CA Middle School Library was established in 2002. Before 2002, the Reinberger East (Upper School) Library served grades 7-12, and the Reinberger West (Lower School) Library served grades K-6. When space became available in the McCoy Learning Center, the school determined that a new, third library was necessary to serve Middle School students exclusively. The MS Library serves approximately 320 Middle School students in grades 5-8, and by extension, the greater CA community. In its current location, the library is approximately 1800 square feet and houses 10,000+ volumes. Available resources include 20 MacBook Pro laptop computers, 4 iMac desktop computers, 8 iPads,as well as Flip digital video cameras, Sony digital cameras, Cannon video cameras, ipods, and Kindles. The MS library and all CA libraries are fully automated, using Alexandria Library Software.
